Missing A Lifetime Opportunity
A true life account.
Guy C met Girl T from a friend’s introduction. After talking to her, he realised that both of them share similar passion and interests.
As Guy C was busy with exams at that time, he decided to “KIV” this potential relationship and did not maintain much contact with Girl T.
After his exams, he decided that it’s finally time to take action! He wanted to ask Girl T out but couldn’t think of a reason to do so. So he procrastinated for another week. Then one day, he decided that he must ask by the eve of good friday. He knew that Girl T will be online on msn for the whole day. So he took a morning nap. When he woke up, Girl T was offline already. Atlas, he missed yet another good chance to ask her out during the holiday stretch.
Finally Guy C managed to catch Girl T on msn on a weekday morning and asked her out. He arranged for an outing 2 days later. Just on the eve of the outing, Guy C’s friend told him that Girl T is already attached to another guy 1 day ago.
So much for procrastinating and the morning nap. If he had did something earlier, he would have at least presented himself as an option to Girl T.
In life, many opportunities are missed because we procrastinate.
“I can study after I watch this youtube mtv.” In the end, you went to sleep instead of study. As a result, you missed that A.
“The stock price is escalating. It is now at $0.59. I will monitor it for 1-2 hours more before deciding if i should buy it.” After 2 hours, the price is $0.65.
” I can always ask her out after I am more free. Call her? No lah. I have more important things to do.” Few days later, you realised that she is another man’s girlfriend.
In relationship, “the golden period” is very important. Girls will not wait too long for a guy. Once you have missed that, you can’t even hope for a miracle to happen.
DO NOT Procrastinate! Date your dream girl out as soon as possible! For all you know, what you do this minute may bring you a lifetime of happiness.
