LOVE CLINIC
Book Launch & Seminar
Library@Orchard,
Singapore, 3 August 2005
Love Clinic held its book launch at Orchard Library
on 3rd August 2005.
The event kicked off with an introduction by the
director of Rank Books, Mr K.C. Goh. He commented
that in the process of pursuing a university degree,
many Singaporean guys have neglected the importance
of “losing their bachelorhood degree”.
Love Clinic’s star matchmaker Chelestiar Kong then
shared with the audience tips on “Finding that
someone special”. In his talk, he addressed issues
such as the importance of having a criteria list,
ways to improve one’s chances and how to ask her out
for the first date. Following which, our Senior Love
Consultant, Dr Chung Pin Soon, shared his views on
the dos and don’ts for the first date. In his
segment “Preparing for the first date”, he advises
guys to prepare for the date beforehand, be natural
on the day itself and to follow-up after the first
date. Love Clinic's Founder, Dr Eugene Tan then
brought the audience into another phase of romance
by sharing with the readers “Secrets of a successful
relationship.” According to Eugene, frequent
communication and daily romance are needed to keep
every relationship alive.
All the seats for the event were filled. After the
talk, the authors proceeded to sign a poster to mark
the official launch of the book. An attractive
discount was offered to members of the public who
purchased the book on that day.
